Assoc Engineer-Data (Ntwk)
Qualifications:
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
CCNA or ICND 12 or CCDA
Technical Skills: Switches, Routers, Servers, Firewalls, LAN & WAN Technologies,
TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, VoIP, SIP, QoS, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPv6, Mobile IP
Complete understanding of IP subneting and routing.
Familiarity with Windows, Unix, Linux, Cisco IOS/XR & Junos operating environments.
Understanding of Sniffer software and hardware analysis tools
Candidate must be a self-starter
Candidate must be capable of working both independently and on a team.
One-year experience with wireless data technologies preferred.
Desired experience with cable management and physical connectivity
Valid driver's license

.Responsibilities:
Support the planning and development of 3G-1X, EvDO and LTE Wireless infrastructure.
Understand the different topologies, offered services and their data flows to aid in optimal design.
Engineer the various regional components of the switched and routed networks.
Utilize budget plans and capacity forecasts to engineer systems within financial objectives.
Create reports that track & trend Key Performance Indicators and Critical Triggers, which will enable efficient and effective network growth.
Facilitated communication between local Operations, Regional Engineering, HQ/Planning Teams and multiple vendors.
Ability to multitask and project manage various objectives.
Create Methods of Procedure (MOPs) to initiate and clearly communicate regional moves/adds/changes.
Maintain regional IP management database.
Use performance tools to identify network issues and offer guidance for resolution.
