The Engine Test Systems & Services group within Support Equipment Operations, is seeking an entry level Associate Engineer. You will become a member of a dynamic team responsible for the design, manufacture and installation of support equipment as it pertains to jet engine test. Other areas of responsibility may include Jet Engine Maintenance Facility Planning and Tool Provisioning for our military and commercial engine customers.
The Associate Engineer will be responsible for and gain experience in a wide range of challenging tasks, including direct contact and interface with internal and external customers as well as with our Supplier base.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Participation in new engine campaign proposal activities.
- Provide direct support for our Senior Project Engineers in the execution of their project tasks.
- Potential travel (domestic & international) to assist in site reviews and test cell installations/upgrades at customer locations.
- Support Facility Planning and Tool Provisioning activities.
- Engage in specific project tasks and assume responsibility for timely completion in support of program requirements.
- Good communications and teaming skills required. The potential exists for moderate domestic/international travel in support of customer requirements.
- Specific conditions for job placement: Must be able to obtain Secret clearance and be familiar with and comply with ITAR regulations. Candidate must be able to obtain or have a valid US passport.
