Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, or equivalent field, or equivalent experience.
5 years of experience in the design and/or construction of engineering projects, including 3 years of experience with rail transit systems.
Working knowledge of electrical power distribution.
Experience working on large transit/railroad projects with an overhead contact system.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite 2000, AutoCAD and estimating tools).
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Valid Driver's License.

Meet project schedule and budget constraints per project demands.
Provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets.
Support OCS system engineer in developing and reviewing designs.
Develop cost estimates and projections.
Participate in project working meetings and manage meeting minutes.
Identify construction costs trending over budget.
Manage the preparation of milestone design submittals.
Review contractor submittals and support the installation of OCS system components and software.
