The Assembly/Test Technician will visually inspect, perform minor cleaning, and mount/dismount Focal Plane Array Assembly in test fixture and perform wire bond operation. Will operate test equipment and document results on traveler and database. This position will work within a cleanroom environment (no makeup) while wearing gloves and safety glasses and PPE for LN2. Associate's Degree in mechanical or electronic discipline or 4 years of related experience in a manufacturing or lab environment performing electronic assembly or test required. Mechanical assembly of micro devices with the use of small hand tools/tweezers required. Teamwork, good communication skills, attention to detail, delicate product handling and exceptional manual dexterity required. Following work instructions, manufacturing documentation and use of chemicals required. Experience in cleanroom protocol, Microsoft Access database and Excel, ESD, inspection, semiconductor wirebond, measuring equipment and electronic test is desired.
