In 2008, the Quality Organization within Chrysler became its own standalone function. Since then, the group has more than tripled in size. This growth is a testament to the commitment of Chryslers' senior management to produce a top-rated quality product. In setting high standards in the six types of quality: reliability, dissatisfaction, regulatory, perceived, performance, and service, Chrysler's product line and customer experience has improved dramatically. The teams within the Quality Organization are empowered to improve customer satisfaction for their system or area. As a result, Chrysler now has the best quality in the 73-year history of the company.

This position offers the selected candidate an opportunity to be an internal part of company whose focus is to change the automotive landscape. Additionally, the selected applicant will be a contributor to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards. Must be innovative, self-motivated and have an excellent attitude. Must be proactive and have the ability to establish and preserve a positive relationship with all personnel. Good interpersonal, organizational skills, oral and written communications skills are required. Moreover, the successful candidate must possess outstanding teamwork, be high-energy, hands-on individual with strength of convictions -- a self-confident leader who, in part due to his/her personal presence, style and demeanor, effectively sells ideas and solutions to others. This person must have unquestioned integrity.

The Assembly Field Engineer is responsible for the troubleshooting technical problems associated with Powertrain components. Responsible for the day to day maintenance, troubleshooting, fault isolation, analysis and complete systems check-out within the Chrysler vehicle luate operating data on parts, components, and systems to establish causes and to determine remedies for wear, malfunctions, or premature failures, as well as the analysis of and development of recommended solutions to correct deficiencies of these t and maintain vehicle utilizing manual, mechanical and diagnostics equipment as well as other common systems such as electrical power generation and distribution and test equipment. Identify and diagnosis deficiencies or quality issues and resolutions and provide quick feedback to powertrain plants. Recommend, develop and coordinate appropriate responses to system discrepancies and onstrate a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively lead, motivate, and facilitate others in group situations and instruct others in new techniques. Build alliances within the manufacturing environments to marshal the necessary resources for issue resolution. Must be flexible and work well under estigate quality problems and to apply sound technical judgment to develop possible solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2 years of experience in component design and release experience OR manufacturing plant floor experience
• Experience as an auto technician in a dealership of auto repair service department

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSME, BSEE or MS
• Bi-lingual - Spanish
