Title: ARTS Administrator Location: Alabama-Fort Rucker Where Technology and Teamwork come together Northrop Grumman Technical Services sector is seeking an ARTS Administrator to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located at Fort Rucker, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's ARTS Team which manages Flying Training for United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE). Roles and Responsibilities: . Serve as the Northrop Grumman Application Assistant Coordinator Aviation Resource Training System (ARTS) Expert at Fort Rucker. . Provide over-the-shoulder and phone support to users of the ARTS application. . Provide initial, follow-on and refresher training to users, instructors, and staff on the operations of ARTS. . Assist users (pilots, students, student admin, classroom instructors, schedulers, and commanders) in using ARTS. . Respond to Ad-hoc report requests from users and analyze training material to insure compliance with the master curriculum guides. . Be able to load and configure ARTS. . Provide one on one and small group training and support to ARTS users. . Perform system admin duties for ARTS servers and workstations under ARTS Help Desk control. . Apply SQL Scripts as required and update stored procedures as required. . Monitor Microsoft SQL Server 2008 logs and performance. . Provide initial ARTS troubleshooting and coordinate with the ARTS OEM software team. . Some weekend and shift work may be required. Basic Qualifications:To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: 6 years experience with Bachelors or 4 years experience with Masters, additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. You must be able to obtain a Position of Trust designation. NAC is required. Must be able to obtain CompTIA Security certification within 90 days of starting work. Knowledgeable of ARTS or Flying Training Operations at Fort Rucker. Candidate needs to be self motivated and able to effectively work with various personalities.
Preferred Qualifications:Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Experience with managing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2008. Experience maintaining Microsoft SQL 2008 database servers. Knowledge of USAACE Flying Training, (I.E. grade books, scheduling, syllabus, classroom instruction, and resource management). Current CompTIA Security certification
