Primary job responsibilities consist of working with a project team to develop and document programmatic solutions for highly specialized data centers, technical facilities and office renovations for a Federal client. Coordination of technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project is required. Candidate must be able to quickly adapt to changing priorities and client requirements. Specific duties include project management, programming, design, CAD drafting, specification writing, descriptive and technical writing, field surveys and survey documentation. Security clearance preferred; a full scope polygraph security clearance is required for continued employment. Experience with Microstation or AutoCAD required. Candidate must meet the following criteria: 1. 7+ Years Design and CAD Drafting experience; 2. Proficient in MicroStation; 3. Experience and ability to conduct Field Surveys and quickly complete survey accurately and thoroughly. Surveys range from a few hours to multiple days in international (OCONUS) locations; 4. Experience and ability to manage both large and small projects including programming, staffing, executing to project closeout; 5. Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities of fast-track projects; 6. Knowledge and understanding of the construction process; 7. Experience and ability to write concise and unambiguous specifications; 8. Experience and ability to write concise and unambiguous project reports, survey reports and technical narratives; 9. Experience and ability with material take-offs and cost estimating, including experience with estimating programs; 10. Experience and ability with construction scheduling; 11. Experience and ability to estimate time required to complete a task and project; 12. Experience and ability to work as a member of a project team with other disciplines; 13. Willingness to assist in tasks outside of discipline or outside of job description; 14. Experience and ability to meet with clients, users and other interested parties involved in projects; 15. Strong document organization skills and an understanding of the production process for construction documents; 16. Proficient with MS Word and Excel; 17. Ability to travel for up to a two (2) week period for domestic and international projects approximately four (4) times per year. 18. Ability to obtain a Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (TSSCI) security clearance involving a full scope background information investigation and a polygraph.
