The Position
ATS US are currently seeking a suitable candidate to ‘Deliver & Support’ Industrial IT projects to leading US manufacturers. In this role you will receive Functional Design Specifications for Client and Server systems which will be deployed at a manufacturing sites in and near Indianapolis IN. You will deliver hardware and software as well as supporting documentation governed by quality gates through a defined project lifecycle. On completion of a project the role you will formally hand-off all system components & documentation to the US Service & Support.
The role will also involve support to the ATS customer base in the US.
Requirements:
The Person
The right candidate has up to 2 years experience in a similar role. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes & Automation would also be advantageous in this role. An ability to self-manage the delivery of IT projects as per the Functional Design Specification is critical to this position. The candidate should be an excellent communicator and be able to present ideas clearly and effectively both internally and externally. Candidates should be motivated and capable of the development and application of skills in new and existing technologies. Enthusiasm and a desire for success are character traits we are seeking as is the ability to lead and be part of implementation teams as required by the project. Willingness to travel is essential in this position and eligibility for subsequent application for US security clearance is a plus.

Responsibilities
Delivery & Support of Shop-Floor IT projects including client, server, network components and dedicated processors. This may include Hardware, Software and Databases.
Under the guidance of the Project Manager, take ownership of projects through the full lifecycle from detailed planning to customer/support acceptance.
Under direction of the Support Manager deliver timely and SLA bounded responses to customer calls, dealing with issues through a formal support management process to formal support closure.
Production of quality Design, Build & Test Documentation for Internal & External Customer consumption.
Interface with all levels of customer stakeholders for detailed planning and delivery of projects & support.
Handover of project information to colleagues in the US Service & Support team as well as the maintenance of detailed site records all to provide support colleagues with correct & up to data on supported site status.
