As a Mechanical Designer Engineer for AEP (Advanced Engine Programs) Exhaust Systems, designer must have a grasp of engineering fundamentals, including ability to run hand calculations such as creating free body diagrams, beam calcs, thermal growth, & tolerance stack-ups. Designer will be responsible for early concept optimization through initial ground test. This person may also coordinate closely with airframe customers on mount schemes & interface requirements.
Designer should be able to work independently, as well as in a team, & have good presentation skills, as frequent reviews are held during concept optimization phase in a variety of different venues.
Designer must either have a DOD security clearance, or be clearable (No foreign nationals)
