To support the Depot through Mechanical assembly, inventory control and Shipping/Receiving tasks.
? Backup to Government Functional Property Administrator and Property Record Custodian. ? Operate in the capacity of the Property Physical Custodian within Department. ? Generate requisitions with quantity and need dates designed to meet the refurbishment schedule. ? Maintain Purchase Part lead times. ? Notify FPA/PRC of inbound purchase part dates that conflict with refurbishment plan and resolve conflicts to meet Customer demand. ? Maintain integration test data. ? Maintain Depot stock room inventory ? Issue materials from Depot stock room ? Perform Cycle Counts as required. ? Coordinate vendor technical questions with Project Engineers for resolution. ? Internet sourcing as required. ? Other duties as assigned by Management. ? Monitor problem items for long term solutions such as blanket Pos, Contracts, stocking programs, etc.
? Determine problems in advance, document repeat problems and provide necessary facts to allow The Company to rectify problems and prevent them in the future. ? Complies with Company departmental policies, procedures and regulations. ? Works during scheduled hours. ? Maintain quality output while meeting department production requirements. This position is with General Dynamics SATCOM Technologies, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Government Systems, Inc., but which operationally reports into General Dynamics C4 Systems, Inc.
