Job Description: URS are enjoying a rapid expansion in projects and staff across New South Wales.
In order to provide the support and service which are expected of us, an experienced Civil Designer with superior 12D skills is required in our Newcastle office.
With over 5 years experience in relevant design software such as 12D, Bentley MS, AutoCAD and Autoturn, you will ideally come from a consulting background, with knowledge of project management and the technical work which is typically associated with road, railroad, traffic and transport.
Being experienced, you are highly autonomous with the ability to work on projects with minimal supervision and the 'get up and go' attitude which motivates not only yourself but those around you.
You have excellent communication skills and are happy to be involved in the preparation of bids and tenders. In turn, you will be provided with superb support within a close-knit team comprising of hydraulics, hydrology, geotechnical, mechanical, electrical, irrigation, rehabilitation, environmental and civil professionals at varying levels.
