Major Job Duties Include: Bosch is the world leader in state-of-the-art engine control systems. Our dynamic engineering team is working hard to develop hardware, software and calibrations for diesel and gasoline engine controls including direct and port fuel injection systems, hybrid technologies and alternative fuel technologies. Major Duties include: *Optimize engine and vehicle control system calibration data in the areas of developing configurations for drive-by-wire systems, base engine torque and power, OBD II, drivability, starts, and exhaust after treatment and emissions. *Perform data collection and analysis using INCA and other custom tools. *Ensure customer requirements and share system performance data.
Minimum Requirements Include: *Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a BS degree in engineering or science and should have at least 5 years experience in the industry. *Successful engineers in our team are strong with mechanical, electrical and software intensive systems. *Willing and able to travel up to 12 weeks per year.
Desired: *Bachelors Degree in ME, EE, CE (computer engineering), Math or Physics. *German language skills. *Hands- on experience with engine/electronic/system optimization are a plus. *Experience with INCA Tools. *Proactive approach to work and communication. *Experience with Formula SAE, SolarCar, FutureCar, EcoCAR or other vehicle related hobbies is a plus.
