We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to support our Zenith R&D department. This position will be based in Lincolnshire, IL.
Seeking an experienced and motivated application level programmer in Linux and Android environment to contribute to the continued innovation of our cutting edge Smart TV in the commercial market.
Responsibilities Include:
System design and coordination with 3rd parties and internal product management
GUI design
Applications level program development
Debug and test code
Integrate applications into products
Document and revision control of software related to product
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 5-7 years of experience, MS degree is desirable.
Experience with Linux OS core development on embedded systems running Apache, web kit interfaces and other similar services
Expert programmer in HTML/Java script, JAVA and C required, FLASH experience a plus
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize at the system architecture level as well as strong implementation skills
Knowledge of Network protocols, such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, and socket programming
Exceptional written and oral communications skills
Traveling to Asia may be required
Must work well with small and dynamic team
