Position supports the Area Control Systems Contract. Duties include providing IA analysis and accreditation support to a Government client for a system providing air and ground command and control.
Basic Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in information assurance related degree, computer science or an electrical engineering discipline plus 8 years of experience required. In lieu of degree, 16 years of directly related experience.
Desired Qualifications: Five years of experience in testing, engineering support, configuration management, installation and repair of computer systems, including three years of experience directly supporting ACS systems (or equivalent automated air traffic control/surveillance systems). Must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Eight years experience in Information Assurance/Information System Security Engineering. Two years of recent experience with Defense in Depth principles and technology including access/control, authorization, Identification and authentication, public key infrastructure, network, and enterprise security architecture. Excellent knowledge of Federal and DoD Information Security regulations, publications, and policy. Demonstrated experience applying security risk assessment methodology to system development, including threat model development, vulnerability assessments, and resulting security risk analysis.
Additional skill sets: .Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) .Familiarity with the Marine Corp IA process is desirable .Familiarity with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) .Familiarity with Defense Information Assurance Risk Management Framework (DIARMF) developing .Performing risk mitigation on Windows XP and Windows 2007 platforms .Performing and testing operating systems information assurance patches .Gathering and determining IA Requirements .Mapping of IA policy to specific systems to implement IA requirements while retaining application functionality .CISSP certification
