Serving more than 200,000 patients annually, California Pacific Medical Center provides a wide variety of services including: acute hospital care, a full range of post-acute care, home care and hospice services, outpatient medical care, and preventive, complementary, and educational services. The Medical Center also provides professional education and basic biomedical, clinical and behavioral research. Today, with its 1,254 licensed acute care beds and 25 residential beds, California Pacific Medical Center is one of the largest private, non-profit academic medical centers in California.

The Unit Supervisor provides for the delivery of efficient and effective professional nursing care for (a) designated shift(s) and helps to ensure that nursing care provided is consistent with established nursing standards in a safe, appropriate and cost-effective manner. The Unit Supervisor assists the Nursing Manager in the supervision and development of staff. Provides input to planning and monitoring of unit operations and assists in meeting budgetary goals.
* Current California RN license and AHA BLS/ CPR required.
* BSN or Bachelor's degree in business or health care field preferred.
* Minimum of two years recent clinical experience.
* Previous managerial or supervisory experience also preferred.
* Must have excellent communication and organizational skills.
