Online Advertising Planner - New York
Wikia is looking for an experienced Online Advertising Planner for our East Coast sales team who has a background in interactive advertising experience with a proven track record of acquiring new business and building/maintaining client relationships. The right candidate will also be highly organized and detailed-oriented, with solid communication skills and the ability to work on multiple ongoing projects.
Responsibilities
* Work with the sales team to build and grow our current client list
* Develop strong/deep relationships with ad agencies and clients responsible for online advertising
* Act as Liaison for the Sales, Ad Operations, Design and Marketing teams
* Help with execution, completion and fulfillment of requests for proposal (RFPs)
* Assist with @Plan and Comscore reports
* Review and build media plans and ensure accuracy of placement details
* Build sales presentations and proposals in PowerPoint
* Assist in filling out advertising spec templates and answering questions about Wikia''s ad specs
* Enter media plan details into MediaVisor or Atlas as necessary
* Be responsible for procedures related to booking the insertion orders, including successfully entering and reserving ad inventory using DART-Ts DSM contract management system
* Develop strong understanding of Wikia-Ts ad products and sponsorship opportunities
* Ensure that our premiere clients receive the highest level of sales customer service
* Provide scalable solutions for advertisers
Desired Skills & Experience
* 1-3 years experience in relevant position in Online Advertising
* Knowledge of the interactive marketplace (gaming and /or entertainment experience is a plus)
* Strong work ethic; desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
* Must be a team player
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to multi-task - must be able to juggle multiple projects and clients
* Excellent communication skills - must be able to think critically about both client needs and internal solutions
* Ability to work independently
* Excellent time management skills
* Experience with DART-Ts DSM and DFP is preferred
* Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel & PowerPoint
