The Field Account Representative is responsible for helping customers maximize online marketing efforts, and manage inventory, by collecting and transferring/uploading vehicle information to CDM online. Train the customers' employee(s) on the proper and effective use of the AutoOffice® program. Foster and maintain existing customer relationships, including promoting other CDM products and services.
Job Responsibilities:
* Must be able to perform activities that involve physical exertion outside * Must be able to lift up to approximately 25 (twenty-five) pounds * Must be able to get in and out of automobiles of various sizes and styles * Must be able to drive various styles and sizes of automobiles, both manual (stick shift) and automatic. * Must be able to operate standard office equipment and enter data accurately * Physically capable to work up to eight (8) hours of manual labor in a day, including exposure to outdoor elements/weather. * Travel to/from customer locations and services customer accounts. * Perform accurate input of automobile data in an efficient manner, take digital photographs (including "staging" as required), and prepare (print and apply as required) window stickers and buyer's guides. * Manage customer relationship to verify that the customer is satisfied with the level of service provided, including frequency of visits, timeliness, and accuracy of services, to ensure a continued business relationship between the customer and CDM. * Educate and train customer staff on various CDM products and services, with extensive and detailed training on AutoOffice®. Promote and cross-sell other CDM products and services. * Utilize productive thinking and self-discipline to develop and maintain effective route planning strategies in order to maximize time efficiencies and complete scheduled customer visits on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. * Achieve budgeted revenue per month and/or number of automobiles serviced; prepare all necessary and/or required report as requested. * Maintain the customer's property in a well organized and professional manner and observe all of the customer's policies and procedures.
Required Skills - Attributes & Education:
* High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum one year of experience in a customer service function; general knowledge of automobiles (makes, models, engines, accessories, etc.) or the ability to learn; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. * Must have High Speed Internet * Must have or be able to get a cell phone * Must have a clean driving record * In addition to the duties described herein, the employee may be required to perform other job related duties as required and/or requested, subject to reasonable accommodations.
