Our Thousand Oaks, CA Global Navigation Satellite Systems organization has a fresh and exciting business horizon, and is focused on producing high precision, high accuracy military and civilian GPS receivers for the Control and User Equipment segments.
In this role, you will put your technical skills to use providing specific technical expertise in the area of GPS Receiver Programs, products and R & D efforts.
*Provides leadership in all areas of Systems Engineering from product platform development through requirements management, systems analysis and technology assessment.
*Supports business development through proposal writing and interaction with domestic/ international government customers.
*Management responsibilities to include project leadership, guiding process improvement efforts, and enhancing technical capability of engineering team.

Requirements:
MS Degree minimum (PhD preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or other applicable engineering/scientific field.
Twelve years or more with primary emphasis on technical capability on systems skills and pertinent technology. Majority of experience must be in a specialized field directly applicable to GPS receiver technology and applications. A minimum of three years experience is required in GPS Systems Requirements Definition, Functional Design Partitioning, Trade Studies, Analysis/Simulations and overall system design concepts. Must have experience in GPS Receiver product development.
Knowledge in areas applicable to GPS receiver product lines. Knowledge of communication receivers, spread spectrum signals using CDMA techniques, or GPS receivers is required. Knowledge of GPS algorithm development for various military type dynamic environments including effects for jamming and anti-spoofing.
Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship required.
