Process Engineer Glass Manufacturing

This Engineering position will be actively involved in the mixing, melting, forehearth and forming operations. Under very limited supervision, design equipment and manage projects related to batching raw materials and other glass production equipment. Improve production processes, energy efficiency and maintenance of batching and glass melting operations. Work closely with other functional groups. Solve unique and complex technical problems requiring innovation and discovery. Previous knowledge/experience of glass mixing, melting and forming is a plus but not a requirement.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be proactive in investigating problems, recommending solutions, and implementing the resulting plan of action. Strong organizational, planning and follow-up skills as well as technical skills are required. AutoCAD experience is desired. BS in Engineering required.
3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
BS in Engineering required.
