ITT Communications Systems (CS) ITT is in need of an experienced IT Professional. This person is responsible for day to day operation, maintenance, and interoperability of MDA prototype computer system and software components in direct support of the collection, monitoring, fusion, analysis, display, and dissemination of maritime related information to intelligence analysts and decision makers. These duties include, but are not limited to, periodic maintenance, to include installation and configuration of software patches, operator training, and trouble shooting identified system problems. The MDA FSET is the primary point of contact for MDA operators for all issues related to system operation and performance. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance due to the classification level of the information handled by the MDA system and the connection of MDA System components to multiple classified networks. The MDA FSE may access classified information during the course of troubleshooting system performance and in the process of providing training for MDA System operators. ITT designs and integrates voice and data communications equipment into end-to-end network solutions and provides military products and professional services to the United States Marine Corps, the US Navy, and the US Army. Requirements: BS in Information Technology (or equivalent technical degree) or 4+ years technical experience in related discipline desired. 4+ years experience in military information technology and/or intelligence desired. Experience as U.S. Navy IS, OS, IT, or CT or Naval Intelligence Officer with related experience preferred. The candidate must be familiar with both afloat and shore based U.S. Navy intelligence systems and products. Training and mentoring background highly desirable. Candidate must be capable of working independently with little or no supervision in a high operations tempo environment. Most positions require candidate to have a current favorable Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI). Some positions will require completion of a polygraph examination.
